Paul Frank's Youth Art Workshop Huntington Beach Art Center The “Under the Tent Workshop with Paul” was a youth art workshop, which took place at the Huntington Beach Art Center, featured artist/designer Paul Frank. For six hours Paul guided kids in creating their own bag featuring their own original design. The event was part of the center's summer art-camp program and a fundraiser to help support its programs. Jones Soda was invited to the event to provide a variety of sodas to the kids. In addition, each child received a goody bag from the Huntington Beach Art Center , which included Jones Soda stickers and pins! Jones rep. Ryan and the Jones Van was on site to help hand out soda, hang out with the kids.

N.O.R.B.A. Schweitzer, Idaho The Norba National Championships Mountain Bike Series is North America 's premier off-road cycling series. The series crowns USA Cycling's Mountain Bike Champions. Schweitzer Mountain Resort was pleased to host this exciting championship event this summer. Athletes from around the world competed in the cross-country, downhill, short track and mountain cross. Jones scored a sweet banner spot right above the winners' podium. Jones also supported the event by providing beverages to thirsty contestants and attendees. All the kids were excited to have Jones at the event!

Ragbrai Race (Register's Annual
Great Bicyle Ride Across Iowa) RAGBRAI®, The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa®, is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state. RAGBRAI is the longest, largest and oldest touring bicycle ride in the world. The RAGBRAI route averages 471 miles and is not necessarily flat! It begins somewhere along Iowa's western border on the Missouri River and ends along the eastern border on the Mississippi River. KEXP Parking Lot Seattle, WA The Second Annual KEXP BBQ was held on Saturday, July 17th. The festivity started at 6:00 pm. The KEXP parking lot was the setting for Jones Sodas, beer, hot dogs, and live music featured Seattle's own The Ruby Doe and other local bands. Jones Soda was the non-alcoholic beverage sponsor of the event. The Jones Van was on-site to hand out stickers, posters and lapel pins to attendees. All attendees were given a drink ticket for a free Jones beverage.

Victoria Ska Festival Victoria, BC Victoria 's Annual Ska Festival was the largest of its kind in Canada and has become one of the most anticipated music festivals. The festival represents the growing participation and interest in ska music, its related genres and sub-cultures by thousands of people in Victoria and the rest of Vancouver Island , Vancouver , Lower Mainland British Columbia and the rest of the world. Wakefest Kelowna, BC The 2004 Wakefest rolled into Kelowna, B.C. for the biggest beach party of the summer. The Waterfront beach park was a weekend full of fun! There were concerts, a Freestyle Motocross show, the renowned Wakefest bikini contest, and some of the best wakeboarding on the planet! The Jones team was there, and with the help of the Bootlegger team (a Jones retailer), Jones was able to get a prime sampling position. More than 3,200 cups were poured! With more than 40,000 people, the WakeFest was a huge success!

Corner of Broadway and Pike Street The Seattle Pride March will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 27 at the corner of Broadway and Pike Street. The march will continue north on Broadway up to Volunteer Park , where the rally and festival will take place. Jones is a major sponsor of this year's Seattle Gay Pride. Jones has created 240 cases of MF Grape with this year's Pride logo. The soda will be used as thank you gifts and refreshment for all of the volunteers who make this event happen each year. Jones is also donating Jones t-shirts and Jones soda for various fund raisers for Pride. The Jones van and Jones RV will be at the event with the Jones crew handing out samples to the crowd. Tour de Cure Pittsburgh, PA Tour de Cure is an annual event to raise funds to support the efforts of American Diabetes Association (ADA) to find a cure for this deadly disease, and support diabetes treatment and education. Jones Soda is showing its support to this cause by donating product to event. Jones energy drinks will be handed out to the participating riders. The Mural Amphitheater, Seattle Center Two of Seattle's premier music and arts organizations have joined forces to create a program known as the One Reel/Vera Project Seminar Series. In the first year of what promises to be an annual program, ten volunteers ages 17-27 are given lessons in event planning and project management. Free for All! will showcase local and regional talent with a focus on upbeat, energetic music. Free for All! Is a free, non-ticketed event open to the general public. Donations of hygiene items will be collected on site in support of YouthCare, a non-profit organization focused on assisting high-risk and homeless Seattle youth.

Mobile Skatepark Series Cincinnati, OH The Mobile Skatepark Series returns to Sawyer Point in Cincinnati for the third year in 2004. All events are FREE to the public. There will be food, prizes and give-aways throughout the days. The event will be televised on Fox Sports Net in the form of 7 hours of programming covering different MSS elements and will be seen in 180 countries around the world. The programs will air every Friday starting in July from 4:00 - 5:00 PM and from 1:00 - 2:00 AM. Jones Soda emerging rider from Kentucky, 6 year-old Dylan Oliver, will be competing at the event. Riverside Skate Jam Riverside Skate Park The RIVERSIDE SKATE JAM 2004 was a benefit event for the Riverside Skate Park. Nike, Jones Soda, Riverside Park Fund, and the New York City of Department of Parks and Recreation, were the event's main sponsors. More than 1,000 people attended the event. Jones Soda reps, Keith Viera and Chris King were at the event with the Jones van and the newly wrapped Jones RV. They raised money for the Skate Park by selling Jones soda to the attendees. |

Arts Festival Indio, CA Coachella Valley Music and Arts Fest is an annual festival held in Indio, CA. More than 150,000 people from all over California attended the 2-day event. Jones Soda sponsored the artist/independent film tent and had 2 Jones coolers on site. The West Coast Jones RV and RV driver, Frank B., parked up front by the parking lot, handing out samples to attendees. |

New York Style Expo New York, NY The CollegeBound Style Expo was another successful event that Jones Soda sponsored. There were thousands of high school and college students that came through the 5-hour event. The event exposed student attendees to the latest trends in clothing, accessories, music, entertainment, technology, beauty, food, and much more. The newly wrapped Jones Sampling van was parked right in front of the entrance for maximum visibility for Jones. Inside the venue, there was a 10X10 booth with 2 Jones banners. 5 Jones reps. handed out samples of a variety of Jones Soda and Naturals, including the sugar free sodas, which were a hit. The students, who sampled Jones, loved the fact that they could submit photos to be on Jones labels. |

Slam City Jam BC Place Stadium SLAM CITY JAM was huge! Slam is one of the largest street and vert competitions in North America and is held each spring in Vancouver BC, Canada. Jones reps made the very most of connecting and meeting and branding thousands of loyal Jones Soda consumers at BC Place Stadium on April 30, May 01 & 02. Jones donated Jones soda and naturals to the volunteers of Slam City Jam and supported the event mainly from the outside of the huge BC Place Stadium monolith. Jones’ new pink van was on site over the 3 days and about 2,500 samples of all Jones flavors were handed out to quench the thirsts of the skaters, volunteers and ticket holders. The Jones booth in the stadium was a 70's lounge complete with furry green and orange chairs, love beads and plastic plants in the stadium for the Jones emerging riders to hang out in. Jones’ pro rider, Buck Lasek, stopped by the “Jones Lounge” and spent an hour with his fans after an underground-like memo was circulated outside of the building. He signed everything from postcards to boards and key chains, shirts and even someone’s body. Jones’ volunteer, Elizabeth, talked to almost everyone and managed to get a Jones pin on each attendee so everyone inside of the venue was plastered in Jones logos. Jones’ Vancouver team, Carol Hutchinson, Jamie Reid and Ryan McDowell, handed out samples, spoke to everyone they could. Jones was everywhere! The best part was Bucky Lasek won the vert in the finals! Way to go! And thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.

41st Annual National Conference Hyatt Regency Goat Island More than 1,200 photographers, including photography students and educators, will be attending the 2004 National Conference. The event will take place March 25 – 28 at the Hyatt Regency Goat Island. The conference features four days of seminars, one-on-one portfolio reviews, exhibition openings and receptions. Johnny Reliable CD Release Concert Tulsa, OK Johnny Reliable is a regional rock band based out of Tulsa, Okla., and was nominated for 2003 Best Rock Act by Tulsa World. The band is having a concert to launch its new CD, Going Hollywood. Denim Day Bloomingdale’s On March 13, 2004, Bloomingdale’s hosted the Spring 2004 Men’s Denim Day at its Flagship Store in New York City. The theme was House Party and the day included shopping, music, gifts-with-purchase, giveaways and more. Jones Soda Berry Lemonade and Blue Bubblegum were a hit at the themed event. Jones Soda signage and sodas were prominently displayed in the store during the event. Samples were handed out to attendees and Jones Soda promotional materials will also be included in the gift-with-purchase bags.

The 11th New York Underground Film
Festival New York, NY Before the New York Underground Film Festival was established in 1993, film festivals catered to an exclusive, older crowd. This Festival was founded to change this status quo and to open up the film festival experience to a younger, hipper audience of film-lovers and filmmakers. Winter All-Girls Sports Day Kirkland Boys and Girls Club The Kirkland Boys and Girls Club organized the 2nd Winter All-Girls Sports Day on February 18, 2004, to coincide with mid-winter break at the Kirkland location. There were 120 girls at the event, participating in a variety of activities such as basketball, volleyball and rock climbing. Jenny Boucek, an assistant coach for the Seattle Storm, the local WNBA team, spoke to the young girls at the event, inspiring them to follow their dreams. Jones Soda provided a variety of soda for the kids to enjoy. Papa John’s Pizza provided yummy pizza and Dairy Farmers of Washington provided ice cream for desserts. |

Valentine’s All Age Show 8 p.m. – 1 a.m. The Valentine’s All Age Show is an event to support all-age activities, local young music talents and just good clean fun for kids. More than 300 kids from ages 13 – 19 attended the event. Jones Sodas, Jones stickers, Jones t-shirts and Jones key chains were handed out to the event goers and this was a huge hit with the teens.

Sick & Twisted Event Lake Tahoe, CA The Sick and Twisted event is the leading free-ride ski and snowboard competition series in Lake Tahoe. The event attracted professional and amateur competitors of all ages. Jones Soda is the official sponsor for three Sick & Twisted events. Products were provided to the competitors and employees for six additional events. The Jones Soda West Coast RV was at the three sponsored events. Jones Soda rep. Frank Barbara, created brand awareness by handing out samples, stickers and getting the crowd excited. There were more than 100 competitors at each event, ranging from 10 – 25 years old pros and junior Olympic team members. Jones Soda had great banner placement on the busiest trail on the mountain. All the competitors were drinking Jones Soda. This is a busy winter for the ski resorts in Lake Tahoe and Jones Soda is definitely receiving great exposure sponsoring the Sick & Twisted event series. Riders Skateboard Contest Bellevue Indoor Skate Park Jones Soda amateur skaters, Vince, Sky and Mitchie, competed in a skate competition at the City of Bellevue Skate Park on February 8. The competition is for skaters under 16. Sky came in 1st in the “9 and under” category. Vince came in 3rd in the “13 – 16” category.
