In honor of Earth Day and to kick off our new sustainability program “Keeping It Real,”Jones Soda went off the electrical grid by powering all essential office functions through human generated pedal power on April 22nd. Nine bicycles powered laptops, the server, three phones and one printer for twelve consecutive hours. Community members were invited to participate and came in floods to join Jones Soda’s green efforts. Seattle Seahawk mascot Blitz, Sea-Gal dancers and Seattle mayoral candidate James Donaldson came to help spin the wheels. Participants were awarded free Jones Soda, Jones Soda tee shirts and coupons for partaking in the Earth Day event.

Why Waste A Good Thing? Recycle!
Jones Soda Co. and Seattle Public Utilities have partnered this year to increase public awareness of recycling, and together encourage consumers to recycle Jones Soda products. As a part of the recycling campaign, Jones will be featured in two brand spankin' new commercials, which will be airing all over Western Washington beginning in July 2005.

Limited Edition Holiday Pack
A goal of raising $50,000

For the second year, Jones Soda has partnered with Toys for Tots and will be donating a portion of the sales to the organization with a goal of raising $50,000. Toys for Tots is one of the nation's flagship and most visible Holiday Season charitable causes with local Toys for Tots campaigns conducted from October through December each year, in 456 communities nationwide.
