Instead of buying new products for my son and baby on the way, I'm accepting donations from coworkers and checking craigslist everyday.

Your coupon will not print correctly. Its printing so large that it prints right off the side of the page, so you lose 3/4 of the coupon.

Way to go everyone! We took our Muckleshoot Tribal High School students to see first hand a great innovative way in using our energy toward a greener Earth! Thank you Jones staff :)

1. Bought and use reusable shopping bags
2. Limit shopping trips to once a week
3. We installed a clothes line and use it when it's not down-pour raining

We need new bedroom furniture- and a desk- to withstand our 9 month old's explorations. So we're combing thrift stores to make it happen: secondhand, reused stuff with no offgassing! win win!

All my lightbulbs are energy efficient. I shop with reusable bags at the local farmers market (less packaging to begin with) plus I carpool there with friends.

Use reusable shopping bags, ride my bike to work and unplug any electrical item when not in use. I will also turn off more lights.

Use reusable bags when shopping, use a sigg water bottle instead of buying bottles of water, and recycling the heck out of everything!

Jones Soda: Keeping it Real

powered by bikeJones Soda Goes Off the Grid for Earth Day

Click to see the day's recap, news coverage, and sweat from powering the office with pedal power for a day.

On April 22nd, Jones Soda will celebrate Earth Day by going off the electrical grid.  The folks at Jones (and hopefully some of you) will be pedaling 10 bikes constantly to power the computers, phones, and the Jones Soda network for a full day.  Turning sweat and calories into electrical power won’t be easy, but it’s a change we’re willing to make to give back on Earth Day.

How can you help?

free teeJones Soda would like to invite you to come down to the Jones Soda Headquarters to spin the wheels.  We’re giving away free soda to everyone that participates.  Bring in a Jones Soda bottle to recycle and you’ll get even more cool stuff.  Five empty Jones Soda bottles gets you a free Jones Soda tee shirt.  Earth Day doesn’t get much better than this.

Can’t come in to the office but still want to participate?

blog picsPost a pledge for what you are doing to help conserve, reduce or reuse and we’ll send you a Jones Soda coupon, but only if you promise to recycle the bottle.

Jones Soda would like to thank local sponsors Piecoras, Recycled Cycles, Tap Plastics the UW Applied Physics Lab, Interstate Batteries, Schuck's Automotive, Superbig Creative & www.pedalpowergenerator.com for making this possible.  Working together has helped us get this far, so come out on the 22nd to help us pedal, or just cheer us on.  Ride with the little guy…Create some change.

I'm Ready To Do My Part for the Earth!
