I re-use yogurt, sour cream, margarine tubs until they are stained, then I recycle them. My garden loves my little compost pile I keep behind my shed

I recycle my trash and take it the recycling plant and help sort through it all.

I started a garden at my bfs dads house for everyone, started a compost pile to help recyle scraps that take up landfill space and recycle trash that is left on the ground by my apartment complex.

I pooped and didn't turn on my bathroom's exhaust fan. This must have saved at least 4 trees.

I always sepwrate all the " good " stuff to recycle into compost. Banana Peels are full of Potassium, and egg shells provide calcium, just two things that make my gardens great .

I am keeping the air conditioning off at home and opening all the windows. I hope to keep it off until at least June 1st.

I just contacted our building management to see if we can implement a recycling program for the entire building.
I also just started using reusable shopping bags. They are great and hold more stuff.

Jones Soda Goes Off the Grid for Earth Day

On April 22nd, Jones Soda will celebrate Earth Day by going off the electrical grid. The folks at Jones (and hopefully some of you) will be pedaling 10 bikes constantly to power the computers, phones, and the Jones Soda network for a full day. Turning sweat and calories into electrical power won’t be easy, but it’s a change we’re willing to make to give back on Earth Day.

How can you help?

free tee Jones Soda would like to invite you to come down to the Jones Soda Headquarters to spin the wheels. We’re giving away free soda to everyone that participates. Bring in a Jones Soda bottle to recycle and you’ll get even more cool stuff. Five empty Jones Soda bottles gets you a free Jones Soda tee shirt. Earth Day doesn’t get much better than this.

Can’t come in to the office but still want to participate?

Post a pledge for what you are doing to help conserve, reduce or reuse and we’ll send you a Jones Soda coupon, but only if you promise to recycle the bottle.
