Linn-Mar High takes Jones Taste Test Thanks to Mr. Brinkmeyer’s marketing class at Linn-Mar High School in Marion, IA! They were brave enough to conduct some independent research on our National Holiday Pack. Of the flavors that they sampled, Cranberry received the highest marks, and Brussels Sprout received the lowest. No surprises there! New: Earth Day 2005 Earth Day is coming up on April 22. It's the one day a year when we need to stop and give thanks and respect all that this earth has to offer. You're going to see lots of signs that say things like "Save the Earth!" or "Save our Planet!" The reality is that we are never going to destroy the Earth. It has been here for millions and millions of years. It has endured great floods, frozen over several times, volcanic blackouts, catastrophic earthquake, it's been pounded by meteors and such. After all that, the Earth is still here and it's fine. It's not going anywhere. So on Earth Day and the rest of the year, think not about how you can save the Earth, but rather how you can make the Earth a better place for you to live on for a little while. Please recycle, please conserve energy, live more organically, don't litter and leave every place a little better than the way you found it.
