Jason Winters - Oregon

I've been in the beverage industry for 7 years in Portland, Oregon. I am 30 years young and enjoy camping and wakeboarding in the summer. As most of the Jones Community knows, I am high energy and don't take no for an answer (it only takes a little coffee and a Jones Energy or Whoopass to get me rockin'). I am part of the Jones Soda team in the Northwest and take great pride in the products we're selling. I look forward to many years to come as part of the Jones Soda Company sales team.

Tom Granroth - Minnesota, Dakotas, Wisconsin

Area Manager for Minnesota, Dakotas, Wisconsin and Nebraska. I have been with Jones for a bit over a year but have been selling beverages since the early 1800's. It is just a sheer pleasure to be around the creativity that comes from the people within this company. Enthusiasm can do great things in the marketplace and we are starting to see results here in the Upper Midwest. Personally I enjoy fishing hunting and most outdoor sports. Naturally we love our Minnesota Gopher NCAA 2002 hockey champions, our Minnesota (where you moving to this week) Twins and of course there are the Vikings.
Here's a picture to show that when fishing we do actually catch fish as opposed to sitting around drinking- Jones soda that is.

Paul Wirries - Michigan

I grew up in the 60's and 70's. I remember 1969!! I remember my mother crying when J.F.K. was shot. I saw it on black and white T.V. I was a hippie and so were my friends. We went to many psychedelic concerts, if you know what I mean, and I'm sure you do. I've grown up since then (sort of) and have three great kids and a wife that puts up with my antics. My favorite thing to do is enjoy life. I love to laugh and play, even at work. Life is a canvas - color it bright. Life was meant to be lived so get up off that couch and live!! I enjoy many activities such as, pool, ping pong, horseshoes, hacky sack, volleyball, skiing, four-wheelin, motorcycling, anything to do with the outdoors and on and on and on. I have an energy level few can match. Yes, I'm an old guy, but... I'll bet I can beat you.

Scott Millett - Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho & Montana

I am the Area Sales Manager for Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho & Montana. When I'm not on the road peddling Jones Soda and racking up frequent flyer miles, I can be found at home in the great state of Utah. In my spare time I enjoy long walks on the beach at sunset and a good romance novel. Ok maybe not, but you will find me on the computer saving the world with a PBR in hand, camping or hanging out with my friends. Now go out and buy Jones Soda - I need more frequent flyer miles!

James Binford - Ohio Valley

I am the Area Manager for Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. It is amazing when you can feel the electricity from people that enjoy Jones Soda. That is what makes my job so great with Jones. I want to continue to spread the good news. I love my family. I like to fish, camp, and coach football. And I am excited to work with the Midwest team.

Chad Kennedy – VP of National Accounts

I joined the company in March of 2004.  I have been in the beverage industry since '95 spending a few years on the distributor side of the business.  I live in West Des Moines, IA with my beautiful wife Krista and our dog "Baby".  I spend most of my work time traveling across the country visiting our great retailers and buyers.  My free time is spent with family and friends and I like anything involving bikes & boats and the great outdoors.

Jeff Somers - Arizona and Sin City

I come to Jones with approximately 4 1/2 years of management and sales experience. A native of Las Vegas, I've had stints in Tucson, San Diego, and now Phoenix. I've been with the Jones Soda team since 2005.
My favorite things: Hanging with my family and friends; Notre Dame football; AZ Wildcats ("Bear Down"); Reese the bunny and Godivea the dog; playing horseshoes and bocce ball; motorcycles; a cold Sunshine Wheat with a slice of orange; Caprese sandwiches; Bison Witches; the Discovery Channel; O.A.R.; telling a good joke; making people smile.
Least favorite things: people wearing sandals with socks (let those little toes breathe); rubbernecking; Duke Basketball; anyone who is "that guy" (enough said).
In closing, always remember to brush your teeth, comb your hair, eat your veggies, and drink plenty of Jones Soda.

Chris Lipka - Detroit

I entered the beverage industry in 97.  I’m a part of the Midwest team as I am the Area Manager for the Detroit area.  I have the coolest job for the coolest company, and I’m not just saying that.  When I’m not wearing my orange jump suit, you’ll find me playing sports and enjoying the young life.  There’s a Jones for everyone, find your flavor and start Jones’en.      

Jason Hockney - Northwest

Hey kids!

I have had many things happen in the past year, I will tell you about some of them now:

My wife Emily and I celebrated our one year anniversary in Canada, but we still miss Colorado. Washington is a dreary and sun-less place, But Jones Soda is worth all the Drear.. Drearying… Drearyness(?). I put about 30,000 miles on the Jones Soda van driving around Washington and spent time in exotic places like: Wasilla, Alaska; Sandpoint, Idaho; Aberdeen, Wa (go see the Star Wars Store if you’re ever there, it’s TOPS!), and Omak. My entire collection of Jones Soda got shipped up to the Head Office and is now on display for the public to see in our conference room… I am still missing a few bottles though, so if you think you have any I don’t, e-mail me and I’ll make it well worth your time. Remember, I dare you to try and beat my collection. I’ve always wanted to do a shout out to my people like I’d just won an award or was writing my senior quote for my high school yearbook all over again. So here goes: Jon G – Hey Man!

Gilbert Moreno - So-Cal

I am the Area Manager for Southern California (Orange County, San Diego) I joined the company September 2006. I’ve been in the beverage industry for 10 years.

Likes- Spending time with my wife and kids, deep sea fishing in Cabo San Lucas, cooking, golf, baseball, hockey and basketball. I think that’s it. Oh!  I almost forgot tacos from Tijuana.

Favorite Sports- Being Latino you would expect me to like soccer, no I play hockey (short pause, thinking lives in Southern California, Latino from Mexico?????)  It took my dad years to admit it to his friends, sorry dad.

Dislikes- Yellow nasty tequila, tomatoes, fixing my father-in-law’s computer (again and again and again),  MapQuest (when it gives you wrong directions) My wife calling me everyday for directions even though she has a Navigator system,  and of course that other baseball team from the bay area.

Steve Freant - Florida

Hello everyone, my name is Steve. I reside in the beautiful land of central Florida. I started my Jones career in the Midwest in St. Louis (GO CARDS!!). I live with my beautiful girlfriend and two awesome dogs, Trotter and Coakley. I love working on the Jones Soda team in large part because of the people I associate with everyday.  Now if you read on further you can see what I like and don’t like:

Likes a lot:  Football, Basketball, professional sports, ping pong, my dogs and the ocean.

Likes a little:  Golf, spinach, hot weather, running (ya don’t we all) and technology.

Don’t likes:  Onions, jellyfish (to include man of war), politics, war, IT malfunctions, pit bulls and road rage.

A fun joke:

Bill Cook - NY

I have 16 plus years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry. I graduated from NY Tech in 1989 and started working for Beehive Beer as a territory rep in Manhattan selling brands like Miller, Guinness, Heineken and Amstel Light. I then went into business as an owner operator of a route on the upper west side selling Mistic, Stewarts and Nantucket Nectars when they were first introduced to the market. After a couple years my wife and I moved to New Jersey and I began working for one of the top food brokers in the country; Acosta Sales & Marketing managing brands such as Minute Maid, Heinz in the supermarket channel and then Poland Spring and Ocean Spray in the convenience/ C-store channel. I enjoyed working in the beverage industry the most and became the NE. Regional Sales Manager for BAWLS Guarana energy drink. Went back to the distributor side of the business working for Big Geyser as Chain Manager calling on all the buyers of the major chains in the NY market and am now leveraging my relationships to help build the Jones Soda business in Metro NY as the new NE Regional in DSD channel.

Erin Kliphardt - Northwest

I am the Vice President of Sales for the West and have been in the beverage business for almost 10 years. I was lucky enough to land at Jones in July of 2007. Things are busy at team Jones with the launch of the World's best vitamin enhanced water, 24C, and with our partnership with the Seahawks. I have a wonderful team working for me and I adore the people I work for. Look for continued exciting things coming from Jones Soda!!!

Timothy Aschettino - Northern Cali

Born in Berkeley, Ca in 1968
Graduate of Saint Mary's College in 1990- liberal Arts major. Exhibited my artwork at the college senior year. One piece of artwork published in the school book

Started in retail beverage with Liquor Barn in 1986. Spent the last 15 of 20 years in the beverage industry Launched many brands like Skyy Vodka, Patron Tequila, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Smirnoff Ice, Alize, Stone Creek Wines, too many to mention.

Single, no children.
Avid outdoorsman, love fishing, camping.

Mike Ward - Midwest

Hello Jones consumers/creators. My name is Mike Ward and I am the VP of Sales for the Central US division at Jones. I am the guy in this photo holding a can of Whoopass. I am standing to the left with the grey fleece. This was taken on a Jones fun day we had in Seattle. I know it looks like we are posing for glamour shots or an album cover but it is just the Chicago team on the mean streets of Seattle. I live in Chicago. I work with 5 great Regional Managers and their AM's throughout the Midwest and Mid South y'all. My favorite state in the US is Euphoria and that usually happens when I am snowboarding, boating, or riding a 4 wheeler.
Work for me is fun so it is not like work. My goal is to make sure everyone from Upper Michigan to Southern Texas over to Ohio and west to North Dakota can find a bottle of Jones Soda and 24c in their town. I have been doing this for a great number of years and never get bored. I think it is because we are always creating at Jones Soda and our consumers tell us what they want. My new favorite drink is 24c Berry Pom. It keeps me laced up with vitamins and tastes great.

Jim Clemenson - Midwest

I'm the newest kid on the block, as Regional Manager selling Jones Cans in the Central US (I'm the one on the left) Minneapolis, MN is home with my wife Stephanie and pride and joy James Tyler IV (on the right). We currently rent, but hope to get our own place soon. Needless to say, we won't be getting a dog anytime soon. When we're not traveling, you'll find me at concerts, sporting events, outdoor festivals, and mostly anywhere there's entertainment going on. Jones is a lifestyle......fun, exciting, innovative, crazy, and lots more adjectives. You need to be a part of it to enhance your life. Trust me, you'll enjoy the ride. Jeff Spector - VP Sales CSD East

I am the guy that will be getting the 12-Pack cans into your favorite supermarket on the east coast.  If you can’t find it yet, just ask the store manager to give me a call, and I will take it from there.

I am a life long NJ resident, as embarrassing as that is. At least I get to go to the airports once or twice a week to get out of town for a few days.

Likes – The Sopranos, Seinfeld re-runs, scoring 120 or less at golf, watching my sons little league games, sending back all my junk mail to the banks in those pre-paid envelopes they send with the credit card applications.

Dislikes – Drivers who never turn off their blinker, empty HOV lanes while I sit in traffic, paying $40.00 for popcorn & a drink at the movies, last second bidders on E-Bay, People in the 12 item or less express lane with 13 items, unless it is me.

Guy Bartley – NE Region Manager Grocery/Cans

I joined Jones in January 2007. I have been involved in the beverage industry since 1993 with various roles on both sides of the “Desk” (Category Management/Sales). Born near Pittsburgh (yes, I’m a Steelers fan, sorry Seattle) but raised as a Jersey boy. Speaking of, (“don’t knock Jersey until you’ve tried it”). My free time is totally consumed by my family, my wife Zhanna, 2 boys Alex and David. I enjoy traveling, golfing occasionally, and reading.

Likes: Italian, Portuguese and Japanese cuisine, challenging situations, getting Jones Soda 12pks accepted everywhere in NY/NJ/Philly markets
