Turkey & Gravy soda sells out in hours

The Turkey & Gravy soda offered online last Friday sold out in a matter of hours at $10.90 for two bottles.

Tuesday on eBay the bidding was up to $63 for a two-bottle set. Seattle-based Jones Soda Co., which produced just 6,000 bottles of the novelty flavor, says some bottles might still turn up in Seattle and Olympia stores.

How does the murky brown liquid taste? With the first sip, hints of sweet caramel and savory lard hit the palate. "Some people think it's the most disgusting thing they've ever tasted," said a Jones spokeswoman. "(But) I had one 10-year-old kid who tried it and he liked it!"
