Jones Soda Gets US, Canada
Starbucks Distribution Rights

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Jones
Soda Co. (JSDA) said Monday that it
secured the distribution of
Jones Soda drinks in Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) stores across the U.S.
and Canada, according to a regulatory filing with the Securities and
Exchange Commission.
Effective mid-March, two flavors of
Jones Soda, root beer and sugar-free black cherry, will be available
in more than 3,900 Starbucks locations across the U.S.
In
addition, Jones Soda sugar-free ginger ale has now been added in all
Canadian Starbucks stores, of which there are about 400, the filing
said.
Based in Seattle, Jones Soda Co., manufactures its
Jones Soda, Jones Naturals, Jones Energy and Whoopass brands and
sells them through its distribution network in select markets across
North America.
Seattle-based Starbucks is a coffee retailer
that operates locations in North America, the U.K., the Pacific Rim,
and the Middle East.
