THE SHEDS are an ever-progressing entity in the punk rock genre - hard to classify, hard to pin down. The southern California outfit has been working hard in the last year, logging over 150 shows and finding time to write and record their debut record.
With their new full-length effort I'll Be Fine, THE SHEDS have refined their somewhat spastic Skate Punk sound with 10 new tracks that blur the line between technical hardcore, danceable ska, and melodic punk rock. Started in 2006 by the three Miller brothers (Mac, Evan, and Morgan), THE SHEDS have been touring full-time since 2010. After several lineup changes and a label change they have set down roots with Los Angeles-based label Mediaskare Records, with whom they released 2012's EP Self/Doubt. They supported the EP in summer 2012 touring on the Tonight We Unite Tour alongside punk stalwarts The Casualties, Nekromantix, Down By Law, Lower Class Brats, and Flatfoot 56. They also participated in SoCal Punk legends Strung Out's anniversary tour alongside the Swellers and Such Gold. Throughout all this they've managed to stick to their DIY roots, still managing and booking themselves 4 full US tours and 4 regional headline tours.
2013 is already looking to be THE SHEDS' year, looking forward to a 2 week stint on the Vans Warped Tour in the Summer before a lengthy Fall tour and a coveted appearance at Fest 12 in Gainesville - all supporting I'll Be Fine.
