When someone's votes go up steady and quick, a few hundred an hour for a couple hours then stop and get no votes for a certain amount of time, its most likely cheating.

I didn't doubt you could cheat. I'm just wondering where everyone got proof that people were cheating, or if they're just butthurt about their favourite shoes losing. I haven't seen any evidence of cheating, so I wonder where everyone else is finding theirs.

Believe it or not you can cheat. Once person can vote hundreds of times a day from the same computer.

I don't actually think the winner gets their shoe printed... Which ... s, because I would pay $300 for a pair of PK Shoestorms. No lie. I'd have the sickest kicks in my city.

I want Andrew to win so I can get a pair of those COOL shoes for myself.

Enough talk about how Andrew or anyone else got votes. The contest is set up so you can vote every single day from every computer you own. It's wide open and there's no way to cheat. Stop whining. Sarah deserves her almost 15000 votes because her shoes are awesome and show GREAT talent. In my opinion, Andrew's shoes are the 2nd best design in the contest. They resemble classic Vans yet are different enough to fit within the contest specs. They deserve all the votes they are getting. It's that simple.

Who's cheating? I don't see anyone cheating. I see a large margin between the frontrunner and the runnerup, but no cheating. Where did you get your proof that people are cheating the system?

You all do know the Nintendo fans will ninja and Chea...I mean network until they win...People my say the 360 and PS3 are more hardcaore than the wii but the fans will ripp you to shreds you should really just stop trying to cheat guys Seriously

That's not networking. Cheating and networking are different and its easy to tell when votes are being cheated in.

You're right. Andrew does not want cheating. His friends have been networking like crazy--leaving no stone unturned!!!

I can honestly say, that I voted not only for the fact that the PSI Shoestorm design is great, but also because I hoped that Earthbound could be released on the virtual console. I'm European. We didn't got neither Mother 1, neither Mother 2 or Mother 3. Turns out this contest won't help. ... ... destructoid ... /the-reason-earthbound-i s-not-coming-to-the-virtual-console-132150.phtml

those PSI shoes are so sweet.
They're gonna totally win.

So I'm pretty sure Andrew has mentioned a few times that he doesn't want people cheating for him.

I must be communicating terribly here. However, Matt, you have displayed what I was trying to convey: The reasons people SHOULD be voting for someone. I'm not saying you shouldn't vote for him, just that your reason for voting should not be one of pity.
Matt :
Posted 169 days ago
Voting for Andrew's shoes is not voting out of pity or sympathy. We're supporting a cool guy who did a great job on his shoes. You can tell that they are Van's and not just imitation ones that have been covered with paint. It's more limiting to approach a project that way--and it takes a lot of thought and tons of creativity. AND, he created these while undergoing chemo and radiation and feeling like crap. Pretty impressive!

...I... DIDN'T say anything bad about anyone's shoes. I said that I liked Baran's.
I'd consider it to be more respectful to everyone involved if you voted based off the artwork instead of voting out of pity or sympathy. I could be wrong, but I'd think that dignity and integrity are important things to artists.

Sparn: wow. who knew anyone could be that cruel. im sure that if you had cancer and were lucky enough to be in this contest, you wouldnt be "out looking for sympathy votes". youre pretty pathetic. the funny thing is, i will bet youre not even in this contest because you dont have the talent so you dont have the right to say anything bad about anyone's shoes. GO ANDREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
