Official Rules for the Jones Soda Co. Sunset Sarsaparilla Blue Star Hunt Second Round Promotion
(“Official Rules”)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
These Official Rules govern the Sunset Sarsaparilla Blue Star Hunt Promotion (the "Promotion") sponsored by Jones Soda Co. (the "Sponsor”). By participating in the Promotion, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results and final outcomes of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor and/or its agents, are final in all respects. The Promotion is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
1. Eligibility
The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor, Bethesda Softworks LLC, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers (collectively, the "Promotion Entities"), and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and household members of each such person are not eligible to participate or win. The Promotion is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, overseas military installations, Quebec, and where otherwise prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
2. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins on March 3, 2026, at 09:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on May 15, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.
This Promotion is separate and distinct from any prior or subsequent Jones Soda promotions, including earlier Blue Star Hunt promotions. Entries, caps, or participation in any other promotion do not carry over to this Promotion and will not be considered valid for entry into this Promotion.
3. How to Enter
There are two (2) ways to enter the Promotion. Limit one (1) entry per person for the entire Promotion Period, regardless of entry method. Multiple entries submitted by the same person will not increase the odds of winning and only the first valid entry received will be considered.
Purchase Method
Possession of a Blue Star cap does not guarantee selection as a winner or receipt of a prize.
During the Promotion Period, participants may purchase a specially marked bottle of ‘Jones x Sunset Sarsaparilla’ soda and remove the cap. If the cap features a ‘Blue Star’ symbol, the participant may scan the QR code using a smartphone or compatible device to access the Promotion entry website and follow the on-screen instructions to submit an entry. Required entry information includes the participant’s full name, email address, mailing address, and any other information requested.
Caps that do not feature a ‘Blue Star’ symbol may be scanned to access the website for email collection and potential access to other special offers but will not qualify as a Promotion entry.
Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)
To enter without purchase, during the Promotion Period a participant may visit www.jonessoda.com/bluestarhunt and follow the instructions to complete and submit the online entry form, including the participant’s full name, email address, mailing address, and a statement confirming the participant is entering the Promotion via the free AMOE.
Entry Limits and Conditions
Each participant is limited to one (1) total entry for the entire Promotion Period, regardless of whether entry is submitted via the Purchase Method, the AMOE, or any combination of methods. If multiple entries are received from the same person, only the first eligible entry received will be included in the random drawing. All additional entries will be void and will not be acknowledged.
Promotion entries must be received during the Promotion Period to be eligible. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means, or by any means that subvert the entry process, are void. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or disregard duplicate or incomplete entries at its sole discretion. All Promotion entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
4. Random Drawing and Odds of Winning
On or about May 20, 2026, Sponsor or its designee will conduct one or more random drawings from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period to select a number of potential winners, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, subject to verification and prize availability. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the availability of prizes.
5. Prizes
Potential winners will be eligible to select one (1) prize from the following Blue Star Prize Pool, subject to availability (prizes awarded on a first-come, first-served basis among verified winners, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion):

Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and no cash equivalent or substitution will be offered except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Limit one (1) prize per person/household. Prizes are subject to change during the promotion at the sole descrection of the Sponsor. It will be updated on webpage and rules.
6. Winner Notification and Verification
Potential winners will be notified via email and/or mail at the contact information provided by the participant at entry within approximately five (5) business days after the prize drawing. Potential winners may be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where legal) Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification, or the prize may be forfeited. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time period, fails to sign and return required documents, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and the prize forfeited. Sponsor may then select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries. All verified winners will receive instructions on how to select and claim their prize. All prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days of notification or will be forfeited.
Canadian Skill-Testing Requirement
As a condition of being declared a winner, potential winners who are legal residents of Canada must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor or its designee. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate potential winner.
7. Taxes
Promotion prize winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, and any other costs, expenses, or fees associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided.
For prizes valued at USD $600.00 or more awarded to U.S. residents, winners must provide a valid Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number for tax reporting purposes, and Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC. Canadian winners will be responsible for any applicable Canadian tax reporting obligations.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes each participant’s perpetual consent for Sponsor's and its agents' use of the participant’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration, including use in connection with the #BlueStarHunt social media campaign.
9. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.jonessoda.com/policies/privacy-policy. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information by Sponsor for the purposes of Promotion administration, winner notification, prize fulfillment, and for marketing and promotional purposes, including the use of entrants’ names and email addresses to send Sponsor emails about products, promotions, and special offers. Entrants may opt out of receiving marketing communications and may withdraw consent at any time.
10. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor may hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to such action to award prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and Sponsor will seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitations of Liability
The Promotion Entities are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information; (2) technical failures; (3) unauthorized human intervention; (4) lost, damaged, or misdirected entries or notifications; (5) any injury or damage to persons or property related to participation or prize use; or (6) printing, typographical, or other errors in Promotion materials. By participating in the Promotion, each participant hereby releases and holds harmless the Promotion Entities from any liability arising from participation in the Promotion or receipt/use of any Promotion prize and/or award.
12. Disputes
All issues concerning these Official Rules and the Promotion shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to choice of law principles, except where prohibited by applicable Canadian law. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction in and for King County, Washington. Entrants waive any right to trial by jury.
13. Social Media Disclaimer
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, X, Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform. By using #BlueStarHunt or posting about the Promotion, entrants release such platforms from any liability.
14. Winners List
For a list of winners (available after May 30, 2026), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Jones Soda Blue Star Hunt Winners List, PO Box 80526, Seattle, WA 98108. Requests must be received by July 1, 2026.
